This presentation will review the diagnosis and management of endometriomas including mechanisms to identify patients that may benefit from surgical management as well as advanced techniques that a surgeon may use to adequately remove endometriomas without affecting ovarian function. A discussion of tips and techniques of addressing both the endometrioma as well as the associated endometriosis will be held. Surgical techniques and types of energy used to treat endometriosis surgically will also be reviewed.
